We have received an invitation to party in our favourite city: Birmingham. This night, although in its infancy, has already secured a dedicated following of black-clad, tech heads; one thing that separates them – the music.
We are yet to experience this night, but listening to promos, the deep, dubby, kick-beats are enough to grab our attention. Headlining the upcoming event is non other than UNER!!!! Ushuaia’s resident and ANTS frontman, he will be playing an extended 4-hour set! The venue NEXTdoor, is again a first for us, so we are dripping with antici——–pation. Slut.
Let’s get a grip, the Occult following is fast becoming a name and event to watch in the midlands, their ethos behind bookings – to deliver the real underground sound – a brave but somewhat brilliant move, in a fiercely competitive market. Birmingham has some huge players in the techno/tech/house genre arena and a stand alone brand, such as Occult, has a challenge to stamp their mark on the underground scene. We will wait and see… One thing for sure is: #WeHaveJoined… Have you?
