The classically trained duo, consisting of Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser, are revered both in their own country and worldwide, and it’s easy to see why.
The two had the idea of combining their love for the cello with pop-music arrangements, bringing together two very different worlds in the process.
Covering hits like Smooth Criminal, Highway to Hell, and We Found Love the group eventually caught the ears of Ellen Degeneres, who recruited them for her show.
After a viral surge from their Smooth Criminal jam video, 2CELLOS were signed to Elton John’s Rocket Music.
