The latest track to be released by George Kafetzis on driDiscover Records has been well worth the wait. When the bass drops, Tribal Instinct comes into it’s own. Clever use of percussion and loops ensures that this will be favoured by bedroom to big room DJ’s! As the name suggests, Tribal is the way forward with this one, the percussion heavy track, encapsulated with tough bouncy drums and the right amount of cow-bells to satisfy the most discerning of DJ’s makes for a very very satisfying track. The vocals remind us of Mory Kanté’s dance floor killer YekeYeke, married against the chunky baseline, of Daniel D’s ‘Beatifc’. We can see George’s house music influence on the record and particularily in the layering of this track, and oh my god it works. WeLoveIt.
