With less than 2 weeks till The event of the Summer: The Ibiza Carnival, at the Rainbow Venues Birmingham, WeLoveDJs takes a look at one of the headline acts for the warehouse – Full Intention. Michael Grey and Jon Pearn have, as Full Intention, remixed and produced some of house music’s biggest tracks over the last 17 years.
“So in Love” by Duke, is recognised as their breakthrough track. Still sounding current and relevant some 17 years later, the track is testament to the skill displayed by these House Giants and a firm favourite with Dj’s and clubers alike.
They have remixed for pop Royalty including, Whitney (RIP), Janet and J-Lo, along with the house diva and lyrical assassin Barbara Tucker. “Playin’ with my mind” was and is still one of the greatest house tracks, that has seen revival after revival on the White Isle for the last 14 years, with support from Space’s Wally Lopez to Raul Mezcolanza over at Matineé.
Production wise, the boys have releases on the Who’s Who of recored labels, Stress Records, Sugar Daddy Records, Festival Recordings, Dtension, Eye Industries, Subliminal, Big Beat Atlantic, Stereseven, disco:wax, you get the idea!
With albums for Ministry of Sound and Defected and a spot on the legendary Essential Mix slot back in 2013, these boys seem unstoppable.
